Academics

Strong academics built on real learning, not busywork.

Gifted & Talented Education

Students are challenged through lessons designed with depth, flexibility, and open-ended thinking so they can go further when they’re ready. Teachers adjust instruction within the classroom, allowing students to explore ideas more deeply without separating them into special classes or schools.

  • Open-ended problems that allow for multiple solution paths

  • Extension questions and deeper challenges built into daily lessons

  • Enrichment clusters based on student interests and strengths

  • Flexible pacing based on readiness, not labels

  • Emphasis on reasoning, explanation, and problem solving

STEM

STEM learning here is hands-on, practical, and age-appropriate. Students use real tools and materials to explore how math, science, and problem-solving connect to the world around them.

  • Writing simple coding programs to control movement and outcomes

  • Building, testing, and improving robots

  • Designing and 3D printing models to solve real problems

  • Working with electrical circuits to understand current and energy

  • Measuring, collecting data, and using math to make decisions

Project-Based Learning

Projects are built around real work that matters to students, giving them the chance to ask questions, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning. Through this process, students learn how to work through challenges, reflect on mistakes, and improve their work over time.

  • Projects built around meaningful questions and real-world problems

  • Student voice and choice in how learning is explored and demonstrated

  • Collaboration and shared responsibility during group work

  • Time to revise, improve, and reflect on work—not just turn it in

  • Learning from mistakes as part of the process, not something to avoid

  • Final products that show understanding, effort, and growth

Entrepreneurship

Students learn entrepreneurship by creating real businesses and putting their ideas into action. Supported by mentors such as local business owners, entrepreneurs, MBA graduates, and former students, they explore marketing, branding, financial basics, website building, and presentation skills while working with real customers from the community.

  • Creating and refining a business idea from start to finish

  • Learning the basics of marketing, branding, and customer communication

  • Exploring budgeting, pricing, and simple financial decision-making

  • Building and maintaining a basic website for their business

  • Receiving feedback from community members and real customers

  • Presenting ideas and results to practicing professionals and investors
